kidd nebula & the voodoo-funk conspiracy have officially taken off and are already shooting for the stars.
After the sold-out “Mental chillness” Try-out tour in february 2025, where they played 3 shows in 3 days, Kidd Nebula officially presented his new 6-piece band live during fenix festival (leeuwarden, NL) in april. A maxed out room saw themself dancing and chanting along with Kidd’s innovative jazzy indie-funk.
two days later the band would leave for EVROS (greece) where they played their first international shows during CO.transpose’s 2025 spring residency and festival.
This summer the band funked up the stage twice (!) supporting new orleans funk-band boukou groove (USA) during their NL tour.
With new music on the way the band aims to play loads of shows and festivals this year. Like Ruigoord’s “HET LANdjuweel” and noorderzon.
on 13 nov KIDD NEBULA opened for bass-icon ida nielsen, in amsterdam, known for her work with prince’s new power generation and 3rdeyegirl.
